This Blog

takes us through the project "Past and Present in the Bordemar. Chiloé: Environment and Culture " which was executed in 2007 by the Regional Museum of Ancud and a team of 10 professionals in the rural school Pacific Sun Pilluco sector, commune of Ancud.

During the project, based on workshops and field trips, we were able to convey to children of Pilluco, scientific knowledge about the inhabitants of the island of Chiloé, emphasizing culture, ways of adapting to the environment, creation and use of technologies.

also lectures and exhibitions were held, was created radio program "Sound Wave" and a series of three booklets scientists to promote the appreciation and preservation of natural and cultural heritage of Chiloé , and encourage a scientific attitude.
