Born September 4, 1921 in Santa Fe, Ariel Ramirez, gave flight to Argentina's folk roots and transcended the boundaries of our country as one of the greatest composers of all time. His piano magic came alive many stages around the world and its vast experience, you need many pages to be remembered.
Who can forget his "Misa Criolla" and the samba "Alfonsina y el mar” con letra del inspirado poeta Félix Luna.
I remember as a nice person and very friendly. I looked high and elegant every time we meet at some stage. And that happened in San Luis, Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Cosquín. Incidentally there, our cast won for the first time, the prize for folk creation. Pride. An indescribable joy.
wish I could have before me, the pictures that testify, but among many moves, a fire in San Luis and a flood in Buenos Aires, my memories are only anecdotes of my mind, impossible to verify, except by those who shared the stage .
There is one person who has all the graphics and could not access it, or my scanner, to share the photos more significant today. Dance more than fifty times, "La Misa Criolla." He was a young team with great dedication and commitment. We were accompanied by "The singers of the spring, taking their first steps in public.
By then, I wanted to make a different costume. I designed mine and that of the dancers who accompany me, including my sister Elva. I purchased a black light equipment, skirts painted with phosphorescent paint on a black background, with an incredible design. The dance between These colorful skirts with petticoats of "seven colors", tulle and sequins tag gave the scene a touch of magic. I designed the scenery and the cast of dance. We started falling in line like a hill, with the only light some candles and we kept the verses with some devotion ... "Lord, have mercy on us" ... At the center of the stage, just a cross that reflected in various ways as it was enlightened, complemented the box of a show that received rave reviews in local and national media.
worth remembering today, because his music was part of the soul in many dance charts and also a large group of people. An International Ballet, which was in those years in the region, as representative of the national and Latin American Folklore. Something impossible to forget, they have also treasured the print media in the country .-
