I wonder of the smile and begin to dig into my memory, to anticipate, to invent and imagine that day, which will choose, trying to be the voice of some who are not and think of all my poems which defines me, which I can read . The presentation notes that "Word in the world is an initiative of some poets who formed the committee in support of the International Poetry Festival in Havana in 2007. The aim was to achieve a given joint and parallel to the Festival that would achieve simultaneous readings at various points around the world. Today the Festival "Word in the World" is presented as a proposal by the South Cultural Project International, the Journal Isla Negra and the International Poetry Festival in Havana. was initially intended to move mountains, we were the few who believe that anything is possible. In the solitude of a moment of quiet in the feverish activity of seeking a possible place, our voices together and started running another word looking for a more eco.
From three hundred and fifty points on the planet Earth, no response. Greater than expected, lower than necessary. Could stay in the simple contemplation or flatter with us or think that what has been achieved is unsurpassed. We prefer the responsibility to continue adding that poetry has value if we can be heard. On this road
have learned that poetry is something more than words: a falling leaf, a smiling child, a nursing mother, a glass that rises to celebrate friendship and effort, a landscape that comes our way, a memory, a hope, but we've also learned that poetry is all it takes, "the that has no name ", which can be done again or how terrible, like a truth never told, like a wound that never heals or the scourge of hatred of one human being against another human being.
is not wailing or false joys that we speak, is diversity, peace, air, bread, fraternity, water, work, friendship ... the flowers of life. Anything that makes the world wider.
call to open windows and doors to reality, to floods of pure force, to provide the humanity, to grow together, to join forces and welcome in every place the audacity of making poetry of life. Forms can be multiple, a single passion: to organize at schools, universities, theaters, cafes, restaurants, amphitheaters, beaches, parks, plazas, streets, homes, houses of culture, radio stations, television studios, conference rooms, malls, or where the imagination so warrants, one or many poetry readings, which, together with others in various parts of the world, will be the IV Festival of Poetry: Word in the world, from 20 to 25 May 2010 (in five hundred parts of the planet earth .. or more.). What if, we'll be even closer to the ideal place in the fraternity of joy.
Let's take a chance to flourish by diversity of life. Let everyone know the reasons for our song. Let infinite world!
