This first project workshop was held during days 20 to 25 May and was attended by 107 children in first through eighth grade rural school.
The workshop's main objective the children know
geology as a scientific discipline, field of study and research methodology.
In this way, children can recognize the types of geological materials that make up the island of Chiloé, knowing well, from a scientific view, the characteristics of the island environment, from the earliest inhabitants to the present .
