Children of the Sun School Pilluco Pacific, you know what the concept means Heritage. This after Friday June 15, the day was the workshop of Chiloé : Environment and Culture , equity-oriented theme, by anthropologists and executing the project, Monica Adler and Veronica Aguila, the Regional Museum of Ancud.
The meeting was attended by 107 children in first through eighth grade as well as teachers of educational establishment.
The main objective of Heritage Workshop is for children to understand the concepts used throughout the project, introducing the meaning and use of concepts such as culture, cultural heritage and natural, culture material, tradition, oral history, among others.
The workshop ended with a practical activity, where students were divided into groups in order to apply the knowledge presented during the workshop.
